Mother Nature blessed this small part of land with good soil and nice climate. And people living in these small, cosy hills thanked the nature fort his gift with their great respect and hard work. The name of the region is Brda, sometimes Goriška Brda, because Gorica (Gorizia) is close.
The region of Brda is full of small villages and nice roads connecting them. It is really a great pleasure to ride here. And from time to time is good to stop and get off from your bike, to look around, to have a snack or a proper meal. It would be a clever decision to overnight somewhere in Brda too. You just can’t avoid tasting those delicious wines&food, riding along lovely wine roads. The vineyards are close to each other, they have a lot to offer, so “don’t drink & ride“.
There is too much beauty, too many attractions in Brda to be described in a few words in this post. Therefore I decided to let you discover everything yourself. Here are some things you should be interested in: restaurants, hotels, nature, tourist farms, wine cellars… For Example
Still not sure about this region’s treasures? Than read at least this.

Četrtič offers 10% discount for H-D riders in period of European Rally 2016 event +/- 1 week (10th – 26th Jun).
